Autumn is here, and it's time to give your hair a makeover! With the leaves changing and the air getting crisp, there's no better time to experiment with a new hair color. This fall, we're seeing a resurgence of bold, vibrant shades, rich rubies, fiery reds, and of course a fall twist on the color of the year in baked peach. Let's dive into some of the hottest semi-permanent hair color trends to slay these coming Fall months! 

Ruby Wine

If you're looking for a deep, rich color that's perfect for fall, ruby wine is the way to go. This gorgeous shade can be easily achieved using a 50/50 mix of long-time Arctic Fox favs Ritual and Wrath. @stellacini got the most gorgeous velvet-y vibe with this mix over her faded green base! This rich color is sure to turn heads and is the perfect statement for fall. 

Ebony

Blue-toned black is sneaking back in, and we’re definitely not mad at it! Ebony is making the charts as a fall trending color, and it’s perfect for our Foxes who are dyeing to add a bit of mystery to their look. Pour up Transylvania to transform into whatever shade you’re rockin’ into a bold hair choice with a sultry, mystic edge. You can also add a touch of Blue Jean Baby for that extra punch.

Pro Tip: Transylvania is a pigmented color with blue undertones and will bleed during the dyeing process so be sure to cover up, use vaseline and scrub your shower immediately!

Neon Oranges and Pinks

This one might be a bit of a surprise, but fall is a great time to whip out the neons and make the boldest statement of 2024. Peachy oranges, and rusty pinks are THE color combo to totally seal the show and try something unique. Porange and Electric Paradise will be your stars for this show, both vibrant AF, and both with UV reactive tones that will glow in the dark if you’re gracing any festivals in the fall months. When working with these stunners, bleach will get you best results, so make sure you’re applying on a bleached, even base for the best results you could dream of! 

Baked Peach

Peach ruled 2024 from start to finish, and for a trendy twist on the color of the year, baked peach is the one to dye! You’ll need a platinum base for this look to shine it’s brightest, and then, you guessed it! Peach Prosecco is your gal. Add a few drops of Ginger Flare for a grungier vibe and you’ve got the hottest color on your hands.

Fiery Red

RED has to be our favorite color - and if you’ve seen the Fox Fam rocking a red you KNOW you’ve found yourself heading to checkout for that same bottle. All our reds have INSANE color pigment payoff, but Poison is the IT girl when it comes to a good red. The lighter your base, the more venomous the color, so keep that in mind when you’ve decided on your poison. With a head of hair like this, you’ll be a walking fire hazard! 

Pro Tip: Sunset Orange is known for its red undertones, so a touch of that to your concoction and you’ll have to call the fire department!

Level Up: Peach Prosecco on Different Bases

To experience all that Peach Prosecco has to offer, you’ll need to pre lighten your hair to a level 10 base. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t use this shade on a level or two up from level 10! On platinum bases, this shade will show up as a true rosey peach stunner, but on light blonde bases, this will appear as more of a true rose gold. Cotton Candy Dreams hair color was requested by none other than YOU! Our Fox Fam has been BEGGING for this color, and she’s finally here. This shade of pastel blue is a delicious combination of a smooth, buttery blue, with a strong neon tone. On level 10 bases, you’ll enjoy the full softness, while darker shades will see a subdued and muted tone. Either way, the pastel blue of your dreams is HERE and you can treat your heart out. 

Peach Prosecco

Since the Color of the Year was announced, we’ve been mixing and mixing to get the perfect shade of peach and we bottled it up in Peach Prosecco! No mixing cocktails needed here! This peach pastel combines soft orange with sugar pink for a blend that is TRULY the perfect peach. And with peach blonde taking over 2024, what better time to indulge than now? Platinum babes can pour up Peach Prosecco hair dye and enjoy the full effect while darker bases - well, you’ll need a few lightening sessions to get there. 

Pistachio Macaron 

Would any pastel collection be complete without the perfectly soft mint green? Pistachio Macaron hair dye is a soft, muted mint with tones slightly warmer than our tried and true favorite, Neverland. Frosé

Does she need an introduction? You know her as the star of baby pink hair and the perfect soft pink pastel. We gave her a little makeover and put her in a new bottle to star in the Pastel Hour, but she’s the same formula you love to pour up and enjoy. Level 10+ bases enjoy the full effect of soft baby pink, while darker bases will see a tone that is closer to rose gold. 

Post Pastel Maintenance 

We know you’re dyeing to try these new shades, but before you dive in, we have a little more tea to spill! Pastels can be a little fickle (shhh, don’t tell them we said that! 🤫), so to keep the dream alive, you’ll need to refresh consistently. You can grab an extra bottle to mix in with conditioner in the shower for frequent touch ups, or you can go darker by grabbing a similar, darker shade (think a darker version of the color you’re dreaming of), and add a few drops into your conditioner as well for a bit of a darker hue.
